Terms of use
Last updated 23 August 2026
These terms cover your use of the Inosc app. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Inosc
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the minimum age of digital consent where you live is higher. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@inosc.app if you think someone else has access to it.
One account per person. Don't create accounts for other people.
What you put in
Your habits, your name and any photos you attach are yours. You keep them; we don't claim ownership of anything you write.
Don't use Inosc to harass, threaten or upset the person you're paired with. Don't put anything illegal in it. If a habit name is something you wouldn't want another person to read, mark it private — the app is built so that private habits still count toward your partner's roots without ever showing them the name.
Pairing
Pairing is mutual and either of you can end it at any time, from Profile. When a pairing ends, shared root progress resets to zero and neither of you can see the other's habits any more. Your own tree, your day count, your rings and your badges are yours and stay with you.
Only share your invite code with the person you actually want to pair with.
What Inosc is not
Inosc is a habit tracker. It is not medical, psychological or professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for help from someone qualified. If you're struggling, please talk to a real person.
Availability
We'll do our best to keep Inosc working, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change features, and we may pause or stop the service — if we ever shut it down, we'll give you notice and a way to get your data out first.
Inosc is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. That removes your data permanently, as described in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that's being used to harm someone.
Changes
If these terms change we'll update the date above and tell you in the app when the change is significant.
